I keep coming back to this roast for my Bialetti Moka Express. It has the perfect bold undertones for a terrific flavor! I live in Charlotte, NC and it has the added bonus of reminding me of my visit to Springline’s beautiful Newport location every time I prepare it.

I had this while visiting Newport last year. I bought a bag to take home and share with my husband and he loved it too. It’s the perfect dark roast, both rich and smooth! I buy Springline Coffee as much as I can online now, and it’s always the best coffee in the house. Looking forward to visiting the shop again later this year!

I always have low expectations when purchasing a new dark roast, but this one was exactly what I was looking for. After visiting the Newport cafe, I ordered some beans to try at home. I wanted a truly dark bean that was oily and would make a great espresso shot. This is it! I just tried it today and it made a delicious shot without those bright notes that I seem to end up tasting in most “dark” roasts. I can’t wait to try the other dark roasts offered!
