Maple Oat Milk Latte Recipe — Sip, Savor, and Celebrate: National Coffee Day with Springline Coffee

As the leaves begin to change and a crisp autumn breeze fills Newport Harbor, coffee lovers eagerly anticipate the arrival of one special day on our calendars – National Coffee Day. This year, on September 29, 2023, we invite you to join the Springline Coffee Crew, in celebrating this beloved beverage that has become an integral part of our daily lives. Whether you're a die-hard coffee aficionado or just someone who enjoys the occasional cup, there's no better time to raise your mug and toast to our favorite morning beverage of choice.

Savoring National Coffee Day at Home

While some of our amazing customers are local to Newport and can stop into the cafe at any time, others are not. If you’re local, please stop in and celebrate with us! If you’re not, celebrating National Coffee Day at home can be just as delightful. To make your day even more special, we've crafted a delectable recipe that combines the rich, robust flavor of Springline Echo Bravo Espresso with the sweetness of maple and the creaminess of oat milk.

Earlier this summer, we posted a very similar recipe on the Springline Instagram account, titled the Noah Kahan Latte, and it went viral, with over 640,000 views!

Without further ado, let's dive into the recipe for a Springline Maple Oat Milk Latte that will elevate your coffee experience to new heights.

Maple Oat Milk Latte Recipe

**Ingredients:**

- 2 shots (2 oz) of freshly brewed Springline Echo Bravo Espresso  (you can make it a single if you prefer)

- 1.5 cups of steamed oat milk

- 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup (you can add more if you prefer)

- A pinch of ground cinnamon

- A dollop of whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

**Instructions:**

  1. Start by pulling a double shot of Springline Echo Bravo Espresso. For the most authentic experience, consider using an espresso machine. If you don't have one, a strong cup of coffee will do the trick.
  1. Using either a milk steamer or frother, warm and froth the oat milk. If you have a milk frother, this is the perfect time to put it to good use. If not, a whisk or immersion blender can also get the job done. You can even use a small saucepan to heat the milk, doing so over low to medium heat. (Be careful not to let it boil; you want it to be hot but not scalding.)
  1. While the milk is heating, add the maple syrup to your double espresso shot and stir well to combine. This will create a sweet coffee base for your latte.
  1. Once the oat milk is heated and it's nice and foamy, carefully pour the frothy oat milk into your sweetened coffee shot, holding back the foam with a spoon to let it settle on top.
  1. Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon over the foam for a warm, aromatic touch.
  1. If you're feeling extra indulgent, top your Springline Maple Oat Milk Latte with a dollop of whipped cream.
  1. Finally, savor your creation in your favorite coffee mug, and celebrate National Coffee Day with each sip!
